Welcome to Vocal Sounds, Monton’s newest choir where real people make real music. Whether you’re rediscovering your love for singing or trying it for the first time, you’ll find more than just harmonies, you’ll find belonging.

Led by award-winning mezzo-soprano Siân Davies, we rehearse with live piano accompaniment and sing from sheet music. No backing tracks, no pressure, just beautifully guided rehearsals and the joy of shared performance.

Our choir is open to adults of all backgrounds, with no auditions required. If you’re looking for a friendly, passionate place to sing and grow, you’ve found it.

A quick note about voice balance

To keep the choir balanced, our soprano and alto sections are currently full, and we are not taking new upper voices at the moment.

Right now, we are actively welcoming tenors, baritones, and basses for our free taster sessions, as these parts are still growing.

Know a lower voice who should be singing with us? Please share this page with them, or bring them along. A personal recommendation really helps us build a brilliant, balanced choir.
